My first play with Iris Theatre was when I was just out of drama school and what a beauty: Ted Hughes’ adaptation of Alcestis. I returned to them in 2014 to work on Richard III as Lady Anne and Prince Edward and Alice Through the Looking Glass as the Mosquito and Red Queen. Now, in 2015, I will be Maria in their forthcoming production of Twelfth Night and with this I have been made an Associate Artist of the company. It is a joy and a privilege. I love the theatrical worlds the company explore and can’t help but be bewitched by the theatrical space they inhabit – that of St Paul’s, the Actor’s church in Covent Garden. Come and see us this summer as they take over the church and it’s environs with Twelfth Night and Pinocchio.
